I love denim and am a huge fan of chambray dressing year round.  I love it for separates and as a full look, plus it’s fantastic in accessories. Here are some of my favorite denim pieces right now.

Shoes

For my summer delivery this year, I took the chambray linen I used in the collection and made my classic D’Orsay flats in it.  They’re the perfect shoe for this summer - chic, simple and work with almost everything.  I especially love pairing them with denim or white.  For a less expensive option, I love Soludos Chambray Espadrilles and just got them in my store.

Inside Your Bag

For inside your purse, J.Crew makes a really great simple iPad Case in chambray.  I also recently discovered MS and Co. out of Portland. They make salvaged denim cases and accessories that would make a great gift for your significant other. 

Clothes

Looks

For Pre-Fall this year, I used dark denim in my collection.  My favorite piece is the Trench that comes with or without fur.  And for this summer, I used a great linen chambray too.  My favorites are the denim Slouch Blazer and pleat short. I have been wearing them as a look and separates all summer.  They’re both on sale in my stores through the end of July.

Jeans

For year round, I love a great pair of blue jeans. My favorites right now are my Pop Blue Acne Jeans - I love them because they are classic and truly look vintage which is so hard to find.  For a different look, my go to is my skinny distressed Current Elliot jeans – they’re effortlessly cool.  I also love my Needle Blue Acne Jeans. They’re super high-waisted classic blue skinny jeans.

Jean Shorts

For summer, I find myself living in my jean shorts on the weekends and my favorites this year are my dark J Brand Cutoffs and my Current Elliot Boyfriends. 

Denim Shirts

My favorite denim tops are from J.Crew - they make great ones for both Women and Men and I have both.  My husband has an amazing chambray linen collared shirt from Band of Outsiders that he bought a couple years ago and I regret not getting one for myself.  RRL and Elder Statesman always have great options too that work for men and woman.

Kids

For the little ones, J.Crew makes the same Chambray Shirt they make for adults and it’s adorable.  

I’m also obsessed with Nico Nico and love all the chambray pieces in their Spring collection.  We have great Shorts on sale in the store right now and we sold out of this Dress but its available at Sweet William - one of my favorite sites to shop for the kids.

Trico Field usually has great denim pieces as well that Tanner lives in. 

For Skinny Jeans, I love Joe’s Jeans. They look great and are comfortable for kids.  They also have great jean shorts for Boys and Girls.

The Gap always has great denim basics - they had a great Romper for little girls this spring.  They always have great inexpensive jeans and Tanner lives in their Mini Skinny - yes, they are for girls, but you would never know it!

And as you know from my Camping Post, I love overalls for my little lady.  Bonpoint has a great pair of light denim ones on sale right now and I love Osh Kosh and just bought the railroad stripe shorts for Rip.

Home

For the house, I found these great vintage denim tapestries from Tim Clarke in Venice.  I draped one on the back of a chair and it looks lovely.  I also love Swans Island Blankets and recently ordered a great Denim Blue colored one with white stripes for our house in Tahoe. XXJKE
